No personally identifiable information is automatically collected from visitors to this website. In the event that Crowd Science requests any such information from you, it will only be collected if you provide it on a voluntary basis, and Crowd Science will alert you in advance of the use to which such information will be put and to whom it may be provided.
Our website offers publicly accessible blog. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them.

Social Media and Widgets
You can log into our website using an Open ID provider. This service will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information submitted on our website or Service Platform

In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why. We will respond to all access requests within 30 days.
Our website and Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 13. If you feel we have collected information from anyone under the age of 13, parents/legal guardians should contact Crowd Science at email@example.com.
Service Platform Collection and Use Practices
Crowd Science may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our Clients.
General Privacy Practices
We use both session ID cookies and/or persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time.
We set a persistent cookie to store your passwords, so you don’t have to enter it more than once. Persistent cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.
If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site, such as Surveys or the Service Platform, will be limited.
Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs). Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. We use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. Third Party Tracking Technologies
We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. In addition,Crowd Science will retain personal data we collect on our Service Platform and data that we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed provide services to our Client. Crowd Science will retain and use all personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
The security of your personal information and our clients’ information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as login credentials) we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
