Marketing Director

This position is based in Mountain View, California.

The area: Marketing

Reports to: CEO

Key Functions:

  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning. Clearly articulate value propositions and differentiation
  • Develop launch plans
  • Manage public relations strategy/resources, develop effective communications programs and act as spokesperson as needed
  • Promote thought leadership through industry forums, whitepapers, blogs, social media, and speaking engagements
  • Oversee development and content creation for all web and printed collateral including product fact sheets, case studies, white papers, how-to guides
  • Drive lead generation programs
  • Oversee market analysis including sizing, growth, trends, industry dynamics, and competitors
  • Drive the definition of product strategy and product functionality
  • Define, capture, analyze, and report key metrics to measure the effectiveness of all marketing activities and adjust plans accordingly

Requirements - Minimum:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant product/marketing experience preferably in the field of online market or media research.
  • Candidate should have strong understanding of the overall media and measurement/analytics landscape, online advertising and marketing trends.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to position products for commercial success.
  • Must be able to flourish in small to medium size business environment.
  • Must have experience effectively interfacing with diverse constituencies, particularly sales and engineering.
  • Great communication skills (written and oral), great presentation skills and expertise in client contact required.

Senior Software Engineer

Crowd Science is looking for a highly motivated, aggressive, and articulate Sales Development Representative to generate qualified leads for the Sales Executives to close.  Prospect, qualify and follow up on cold and warm leads generated by Marketing via lists, tradeshows, webinars, SEO, etc.

The Sales Development Representative is a key contributor to the company’s growth and will work with Marketing and Sales to optimize the lead generation process.

Preferred experience in using Salesforce.com and selling SaaS solutions. Having a background in web analytics, audience measurement, business intelligence or marketing research industries is a plus.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a tenacious self-confident recent college grad that wants to kick off a successful career in software sales and/or marketing. Your intelligence quotient, winning personality, tenacity and attention to detail are more important than your experience but you need to have done this at least once before and knowing your way around SFDC is required.
